- UK personal lines insurer
Patrick supported the executive team of a personal lines insurer in the UK on a number of (mostly) strategic issues.
- Interim management at Belfius Insurance
Between April 2016 and February 2017, Patrick was Interim Head of PCI (Public and Corporate Insurance) at Belfius insurance. He managed the business on an ongoing basis and redefined the strategic orientation of the business in terms of product and distribution focus. His responsibility included both Non-life and Life (Pension) businesses.
- Broker strategy and organization:
We assisted a local subsidiary of an international broker to update its Commercial Lines strategy. We refined the client segmentation and developed a new organizational model to better support the strategy and client segmentation.
- Commercial Lines business plan:
We assisted a major insurer in the Netherlands in the development of the 2014-2016 business plan for their Non-life Commercial Lines business in the foreign subsidiaries. This included the definition of additional tools and controls for managing the underwriting process and the development of a new governance structure.
- Interim management at Cenergie
Patrick served as interim General Manager of Cenergie, an Engineering Company in the area of design and management of low energy buildings. While outside insurance, it provided him with an interesting experience in the management of the processes and finances of a project based operation.
Client feedback on these engagements confirm that the combination of the experience and approach described above do result in significant impact.
